Philips pasta maker cleaning: how to do it quickly & easily

Philips advertises that the individual parts of the fully automatic pasta machine are dishwasher-safe, but they take up so much space that I hardly ever clean them this way.

In addition, dough residues sometimes remain, which are difficult to remove with water.

There is a better and faster way to clean the Pastamaker: It takes no longer than 5 minutes before the machine is ready to start again!

How to clean the Philips pasta maker!

Immediately after making the pasta, I dismantle the machine and remove coarse dough residue from the individual parts.

I then leave the pieces to air dry for about an hour. I usually eat during this time.

You can also proceed directly to cleaning, but once the dough has dried, it is much easier to remove. I use a dry paper towel for this.

Dough usually collects in a hollow in the front of the pressing screw. This can be easily removed with a pointed tool. The dough can also be easily removed from the die using the appropriate tool.

Now the individual parts only need to be rinsed briefly. In principle, all the dough has already been removed.

Dry, reassemble and the Pastamaker is ready to go again!
